General Terms and Conditions for Participants of the Crypto Basel Event by Edgewind GmbH

1. General Information The following general terms and conditions apply to all events organized by Edgewind GmbH. By registering and purchasing a ticket on the cryptobasel.world website, the content of these terms and conditions has been acknowledged and accepted. Participant's terms and conditions that deviate from our general terms and conditions are not valid.​

2. Nature and Scope of the Event The event is open to all interested individuals. The nature and scope of the event are described on the respective website. The organizer reserves the right to make program changes for urgent reasons.

3. Prices and Payment Terms The participation fees include the currently valid VAT. The participation fee must be paid immediately by credit card or transferred in full to the organizer in Swiss Francs without deduction within 15 days after registration.

4. Withdrawal Reservation cancellations cannot be made. The full amount will be charged even in case of no-show. Tickets can be transferred with appropriate information to the organizer via email to info@edgewind.ch.

5. Date Change or Cancellation of the Event by Edgewind GmbH We ask for your understanding that we reserve the right to cancel the event, change the location, or reschedule the date. In any case, we strive to communicate cancellations or necessary changes as quickly as possible. If we have to cancel the conference, we will refund the participation fee (ticket costs) already paid. Further claims are excluded.

6. Copyrights and Rights to Work Results, Presentations, and Media The organizer retains ownership of all work results, presentations, and media related to Crypto Basel. All existing protection and copyright rights remain with the organizer. No part of the documents and other media created by the organizer before, during, or after the event may be reproduced, processed, duplicated, distributed, or used for public presentation without the organizer's permission. Insofar as documents or other media created before, during, or after the event involve third-party rights, these rights remain with the respective copyright holder. The legal ownership of all documents, presentations, and media produced by the organizer during an event belongs to the organizer.

   The organizer grants the customer a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the obtained results as agreed upon and for practical purposes within the framework of the event. This applies unless the work results are specifically declared documents or other materials created by the organizer. For these, the protection and copyright rights apply without restrictions, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

   During the event, film and photo recordings of the event will be made. The customer is aware that there is a possibility that they may be visible in videos and photo recordings, which may later be used for various social media channels or other media. If the customer insists on not being visible in any recordings, they must notify the organizer accordingly before the event.

7. Liability Edgewind GmbH disclaims any liability for damages arising in connection with an event.

8. Jurisdiction Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Liestal, Baselland.
